Greetings from the PHN Perc staff! Welcome to the 2018 Northern Husky Marching Band!
- Tuesdays: 9am-12pm, battery until 1pm
- Thursdays: 6pm-8:30pm battery ONLY
Please arrive early to be ready to go at start time; beginning times mean we start playing at that time.
Summer rehearsals are not mandatory but highly encouraged if you are in town. If your family decides to go on vacation, go on vacation! Good communication is crucial!! If you are going to be late, have to leave early, or not going to be at a rehearsal, let an instructor know yourself. Do not rely on another student to pass information along.

**TWiBs (This Week in Band) will be distributed to students on a weekly/biweekly basis. These are also available online a day or so after distribution. These small calendars contain vital information about upcoming band events.
Video assignments are a great way for the staff to check in with the students on their playing and provide feedback and help, especially if going on vacation for a significant amount of time. These assignments are designed to be very low stress where students can play through material on their own, with absolutely no fear of peer judgement. Details of these assignments as well as submission instructions will be announced with ample time.
Periodically throughout the summer/fall season, the perc section will hold fundraisers to help offset costs. Fundraisers include a mid-summer car wash, pop can drive, among others. Students should plan on helping/participating at these fundraisers. Exceptions are made on case by case basis.
PHN Band Camp will be held July 23-27, 2018. Band camp is a fun week where we put together a large portion of our fall production. On Friday, July 20, 2018, there is 9am-3pm all day pre-camp rehearsal. Sunday, July 22, is a check-in/rehearsal day where students will bring their luggage to the school and check in for band camp. We physically do not leave for band camp until Monday, but per PHASD policy, all luggage must be searched and held overnight. See PHN Bands TWIBs and information packets for more details.
